inlet manifold removal.

im stuck on getting the lower half off, but i think i may have found the problem child, all the front facing bolts are off and the bolt going through the top mount.

but it wont budge?

i think it could be a bolt going into the drivers side of the engine (this 16mm bolt seem to go into the side of the inlet..also go's through the mounting bracket for the alternator brace)

could this be it? if it is them i cant get anything to the bolt to undo itm, my socket wont fit under the top mount to get to it and as it recessed no spanner will go!

You can undo the engine mount and jack the engine up a couple of inches on that side to get at it.

yes ben, that bolt needs to come out. should be able to get a 16mm spanner on it, without taking the engine mount off.
