Induction Kit For a Valver

Whats the best Induction kit to get for a 1.8 16v?

Have just fitted a RAMAIR SUPARAM i/k and it has made my car faster, more responsive and it sounds lovely when you get to about 4krpm you get a nice sucking sound!!

Where do you go bout purchasin them and does it have a heat shield?

No it dont have a heat shield mate, but as the weather is so cold i aint noticed any performance decrease just increase even after travelling 70miles!!

I got a steal as it was a brand new i/k rrp £85 i got it for £15 off of e-bay!!

will post some pics tonight for ya mate!! Its not the cone type i/k!!

ive got a pipercross with a custom cold air feed and it feels more responsive specially on these cold days !

Does anyone know if the replacement elements are any good?

Not sure matey! Dont think you get the added noise from a replacement element!!

My car came with a K&N fitted. Nice noise but crap as all it does is suck in hot air.

Fitted a BMC CDA closed induction kit (filter surrounded by carbon fibre) and this is much better.

panel filter + air feed from fog. cheapest and the best if you want power. not too noisy tho.

i prefer wolf in sheeps clothing to a sheep dressed up as a wolf.

Sorry not true!! Have had no performance decrease only increase and the sound is awsome when you get to 4k rpm!

p/s its not too noisy you get a nice sucking sound followed by a growl!!
