The term "dont shoot the messenger" comes to mind with this one. So a while back i started a thread called Petrol gauge vs trip computer. Within this thread i was advised to activate a diagnostic test by holding in the trip computer button and the turning the ignition.
I went to see my mates at Renault last week and told them that i had tried this test to re-jig my fuel gauge as i was under the impression that's what it did. I was then informed that this is only a sound test used to check the gauges and lights work within the dashboard. Just thought i would let you know to stop you sitting in your garage for half an hour thinking something was happening.
Peace Out
