Images on websites. Help.

I am putting a website together that is simple, and it will just be for me for dumping crap on, like blogin and also my pictures to share with firends etc.

Will I be breaking any laws if I put on certain GIFs on the hoepage as buttons?

Like this for example...

You'll be fine! It would only be a problem if it was child pornography or similar or it was copyrighted by someone, the odds of it being picked up anyway are very slim!

who would enforce any laws you broke? theres no internet police, if you broke copyright then you would probably get a warning from the holders legal team first, if they ever caught you, millions of people break those laws everyday, the ones that get hauled to court are the unlucky minority or the most prolific offenders, a few pics wont do any harm
