I know I know, another Rs tuner thread.

A mixture of a bit bored in work and lack of patience i just wondered.

So i bought the tuner off here.
I plugged the tuner in, deleted the codes, and generated the 21 digit code for henk.
I then paid 31 euros for the ron map. I couldnt see anywhere that said a price for the unlock code or is that it?
I then sent Henk an email to let him know the numbers etc.
I wait.

About an hour later I get an email through to say your downloads are ready to download, it wont work and keeps saying 'wrong path'. Aparantly this is normal and henk sends the files in a zip. Is it a case of just waiting for Henk to reply or have i forgotton something?

I know mate and ive read that a few times. Cant help think ive forgotton something though. The more i read through guide i didnt pay for the license, although i dont recall seeing the option.

You need to pay for a license on the site as well.

Ok.

You need to unlock the car first. Select 'Clio 2' from this link. http://www.fastchip.nl/index.php?pa...ategory_id=33&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26

You then need to send Henk a print screen of the ecu information (which has the 19 digit unlock code) when you are in the checkout.

He then sends you your code, along with the maps you have bought.

So all done finally. Took for a drive and it goes very well. One issue . When coming to a stop the revs dropped and it cut out, started fine and only happened once more and then was fine. Any thoughts

Glad you've got it on and sorted mate. I'm not sure why it's cutting out though. I'm guessing it didn't do it prior to the 98 map?

Sometimes it takes a while to relearn the throttle values at idle, I would expect it to be fine from now on.

Yep as Chip said Joe, faultless this morning. Oh and hesitation early am, mmm id dont think so . Just like to say a big thanks to people that have helped out. I over think things far too much and tbh its a doddle.
