How good are the Cat 1 Renault systems

I'll be picking up my brand spanking new 197 in a few weeks and wondering what the CAT1 Renault security is like on them as i was considering the possibility of putting a clifford put on there???

Surely you have answered your own question? If its a cat 1 alarm its going to be as good as another cat 1 alarm is it not?
