Help!

Hi Clio owners I have a Renault Clio dynamique 1.2 16valve 2003 I'm experiencing a big problem with this car it's done 63000 miles and the problem I got us that the light on the dash which is a box with a scribble in it and then another scribble underneath it and the engine management light is on my car turns on but it's ticking over at 2000 revs it try's to drop but goes back to 2000 revs there's no acceleration there's no breaks the brake pedal is just pumping hard like it does when the cars turned off the cats glowing red hot and there's a tiny knock I haven't got a clue what it is but could really do with some help please.... Hi Aaron, with the high revs, & hard brake pedal, says you have a vacuum leak, & the servo's not getting any vacuum, hence the hard pedal, if the hose to the servo isnt damaged, i have seen servo's fail on there crimps around the edges & they dont produce a vacuum.

Hi thanks for the reply my mates checked the vacuume and he seems to think its fine I had a bloke come look at it and he seems to think its throttle body so I bought 1 yesterday and I'm gonna fit it and hopfully all goes well but will let u no
