Help!

hi again all,

i got a phone cal from my mechanic this morning after dropping my car off for him to time it up so the cam bely can be removed so i can take the head off etc to replace the bent conrod,
but he informs me that he cant time the cams properly due to the engine being siezed, the caqr had been sat full of water for about 6/7 months!
do you reckon it will be surfaace rust and moveable or seized solid?!?!?!?

hard to tell without looking, do you mean the engine had sucked water in and been left for 7 months?

Doubt it will be surface rust after 7 month mate! Fingers crossed it isn't dead though
