(help) need to find the engine number

Hi guys just after a little info on the where abouts of the engine number. Is it in the engine bay if so where will i find it. Or is it hiding in the car some where??? If any one can help that be great

Itd down the front of the engine. Looks where your dip stick is down the front and you'll see it printed on the block.

Thats mega thanks for that, i was looking for a metal plate with print on it. thats great thanks for that.
