Help, Couple warning lights and Limp mode :(

Hi guys

Just went out and jumped in the car, two lights are on on the dash

The one in the middle thats like a squiggle in a box, and one on the right hand side tht has two little T's coming out of it

Sorry no user manual to hand and i dont know what all the symbols are

Any help appreciated

I think an emissions fault rings a bell but im unsure? Coilpack or somthing??

I had the same lights when my coil pack gave up the ghost. (172)

Could also be a lambda sensor iirc.

Warning lights could mean a f**king million things with Clio's!! lol

AA dude is on the way, see what he says, doubt he will be able to do anything though

Coil packs are so common to fail, AA drivers carry them in the truck!! Seriously.

Hooked it up to the diagnostic machine...........

Throttle position sensor, trip to renault tomorrow!!

yep, get another one and bolt it on, even a girl could do it. iv got one here if you want it? will cost you around £100 from dealer iirc

Throttle position sensor is on the pedal its self. Just 3 10mm nuts, and the 6wire connector. There a common fault..

had this and it cleared itself due to the wee black metal box back of the engine rubbing on my wires, but i dont think sports have this,

Buy a new one from renault, its £150, but you know it will work, a 2nd hand one - will cost you about 40-60 and you won't know if its knackered, or how long that will last. your cars a 172 right so its what 6 years old, a new one will last you another 6years, where as a second hand one could last a month or maybe a year, or you never know...

yeah its just 4 bolts. and removing the air filter.
