HELLLPPPP!!!

Need some help... Think I may have got a virus or something.
Done a full scan and Kapersky is not finding anything.
I keep getting pop-ups like this:

How do I block/get rid of this?
I dont think it is Firefox that is causing it, due to the little icon is different from firefox's (if that makes sense)

Help Please!!

Also run Spybot S&D. CCleaner (ticking all of the boxes) and your usual Anti-virus scan etc.

thanks guys, ill give it a try...
and will Spybot S&D already be on my computer (im running Vista) or will i have to download that aswell (or i might have it omn disc somehwere)

Did S&D and it came back with 32 entries, all sorted...
Its still doing it though :S

it seems like it found the ones that were doing it... the names of the files sounded right (called "ad...")

Hoh. You need to be more careful what you download*/get a decent Firewall if you haven't already.

Glad you got it sorted though.

Not as bad as a student at work whos 3 month old laptop was so crammed with s**te it was completely unusable and "anti-virus" programs were telling him he had millions of viruses when infact they were viruses in themselves!
