Well ive had this problem before but after giving it a good kicking it fixed itself, seems the problem is back for good now though.
The middle knob on the heater (Adjusts from screen heater to feet heater etc) doesnt turn properly.
Its currently stuck inbetween screen heater and foot heater thank god after I put a hell of a lot of force into turning it to get to that point.
Only way to explain it is when turning it it springs back to where it was, need a load of force put into turning it and it basically no longer moves to any other point other than screen heater. Ive felt behind it and it doesnt feel asif anything is blocking any moving parts.
Ive got a spare unit here anyway but would rather not have to remove the whole lower dash just to swap this bit over. Anyone had this problem before? As said last time it happened I stopped the car and booted it in and it worked fine, tried this various times not to no avail other than breaking all the lights on the unit so it no longer illuminates either.
