Grab handle airbag switch

Gonna be removing the grab handles from my car, will have to disconnect the airbag switch and the electric mirror control

should i also dissconnect the battery as im removing the airbg switch or is it not a problem?

i shouldnt imagine that'll be a problem thinking about it.
It's just a cut switch and you are taking it out of the circuit meaning the airbag is always off.

However, It would not be funny at all if the airbag went off, so i'd disconnect just to make sure.

Yes battery off. Should always do it really when working on the cars electrics, might not be 100% necessary all of the time but its a good habit to get into.
