A well built VW
This relates to a Laguna but im sure the gearboxes are the same as clios
Anyway it has developed a fault , it is very notchy to select gear and sometimes requires brute force now my clio did this and a change of oil to synthetic soon cured the problem so this will be first on my list but im not sure it will fix the second part ----- When trundling along the motorway if you back off the throttle in fifth the car will knock itself out of gear and is very crunchy trying to gt it back in gear - note this is the only time it happens no other gear Also when accelrating you can feel the gearbox pushing back , my feeling is hopefully its only some mounts or bushes can anyone else shed light on this problem maybe youve had it to!!!!!
