Any suggestions?

We had our car sound tested for track today and it was 108db so need to get to 95db, Been told to bang a sports cat in, Wonder if it would be easier to flog the Yozza and get a new system? Trying to do it as cheap as possible

Any advice or suggestions would be great, Thanks

bit of an ask to get the volume to spec with just a sports cat.

Get a stock exhaust or just the backboxes, there's so little performance difference between that and an aftermarket system you won't notice it.

Maybe worth trying a bung. I have used one previously to pass the sound test then removed it later and all was ok.

It is a little risky but perfectly acceptable. They do carry out sound tests around the track.

One friend did have to use the bung permanently when they approached him later in the pit lane to say it was too loud.

Taking the car to a custom exhaust place this evening to see what they can do and how much. Will keep posted in here

Don’t ruin a Yozza by taking it to an exhaust place. Poor exhaust?
Sell it on and get something fabricated or buy a different exhaust
