I had the misfortune to breakdown last weekend. The AA man told me it was a fuel pump relay problem which I was surprised he couldnt fix there and then but as I have since changed the relay and still no joy I was told by a friend of a friend whos a mechanic it may be more likely to be the fuel pump itself which has gone. Basically I was crawling along in a traffic jam when the engine cut out and wouldnt start again.
Anyone know how much a fuel pump is going to cost to sort out for a 2001 1.6 16v RSi?
