Fuel computer knackered?

I've done 120 miles since a fill up and the needle is now half way but the fuel computer says my range is still 230 miles.

That can't be right can it??

they're about as accurate as Tony Blair mate

Fuel gauge and milage computer use the same fuel sensor in the tank which isn't the most accurtate evn Renault tolerances on the sensor from new are quite loose.

Fuel gauge on mine shows 1/2 full when its more like 2/3 which is about normal so 120miles with 240 to go on half an indicated tank is fine.
