Front Struts

  clio 1.4 RT
1stly hi there

i am new to this site and this is me 1st post ,

anyway to the point ,
i have a clio 1.4rt 1996 and i need to replace the struts at the front of the car

i have read that there are two types ,one for 52mm space and another for 54mm space (space at foot of strut between two bolts ),now do i measure form the middle of either bolt to the middle of the other which i reckon gives me 54mm ,but is there anyother difference between the two struts for instance with the foot of the strut .

When replacing the struts do i need any other parts ,i have read about a mod that may or may not have been done on my car but i have no idea ,

and can anyone suggest a good place for spares online .

Cheers for any help

Dave

Yeah, measure middle of one bolt to the middle of the other to get the spacing an no, theres no other differences in the shocks apart from that. Other parts wise, you MAY need new top mounts but normally you can get away without them.
