righty, im not good with cars, or mechanics, or knowing whats what, but i'll post up the "issue" and we'll see what ya'll have to say
right im fairly sure its a normal blowing exhaust, (rs 182) i havent had a proper look but iv a feeling i have a hole near the front of the pipe nearest the cat. if i hit 3000rpm whilst accelerating i get a rather loud vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvssst whistling noise from the mid area of the car that almost sounds like a turbo spooling (if only it was).
now then thats what im sure of, however at the same time ive another mystery pop up, i decided to dip my clutch whilst driving to see if the excessive noise went away once no revs were being put through the engine by throttle and the rev needle began to bounce between 1000 and 1100 rpm... any ideas? it only does it in the first 2mins of driving... someone suggested a vaccuum leak... could it be connected with my f**ked exhaust?
finally k-tec/janspeed or milltek?
