FAO V6 255 owners - any airbag override

So my Mk1 172 doesnt have an airbag override switch for the front passenger ... hence I assume a Mk1 V6 doesnt either. But what about a Mk2? Can I turn off the airbags on the passenger side?

If my littlest one is gone to be able to ride in the Vee (on the rare occasions where my two biggest ones have gone somewhere else in the 7-seater), then airbags give me a problem for the first 6-9 months.

If there is an override switch then will be another step closer to convincing my wife. Well Ive told her Im getting it (aiming for March 05) and now Ive done the finances pitch, just the practicality pitch remains ;) Folding buggy behind the seats ... airbag override etc..

My better half was distictly cool when I told her Id ordered the Vee. As soon as it arrived she grabbed the keys and shot off in it. Shes loved it ever since :)

Renault.

[/QUOTE]Next question of course is whether Renault do an i.d. leather baby seat that uses the Isofix ;) Theyre stopping the i.d. seats coz it seems there are not enough i.d. coloured cows left in the world ... but a little baby seat! :p
