Fao gdi exhaust owners

Does anyone else have problems with there exhaust moving i.e where it exits the bumper as mine keeps moving to one side and melting the surround and also has dropped down a couple of times,ive tried allsorts to try and solve it like packing the rear mount up but every time i get it spot on a few days later its moved or dropped again?

nope, mine's not moved at all. Sounds like the hanger might be goosed if it's doing that? Speak to Andy as they have a life time guarantee mate.

On a side not mine melts the surround (gone through 2 already ), but I'm running a decat and Omex, so it flames on over run and fast changes which has caused it.

Yeah the rear mount is defo shot thats why ive had to pack it out,but i dont think its a problem with the exhaust thou im happy with the fit and sound it sounded totally different when i added my decat, thinkin back i think the problems started after fitted decat maybe they moved the exhaust to much when dismantling system to fit decat??

Try a new hanger first and if the problem continues take it back to GDI and see what they say. They hangers are made out of cheese, which is still stronger than the oe exhausts to be fair!!

Im not to bothered about a new surround,just want to stop it moving would have gone to gdi straight away but 3 and half hour round trip so ive been trying other sources

my renault exhaust mount is bolloxed, some mines shifted, just need to get a new mount from reno. which ill do when i can be arsed lol, its not a problem with the actuall exhaust
