factory sat nav and fitting sony headunit

Hi everyone is it ok to fit a sony headunit and will my factory satnav still work
also the steering wheel stalk what do you need to get this working with the stereo:S:S:S

Yes, I know several local members who both had Sony HUs with the factory SatNav working fine. They also hooked up a playstation to the satnav screen in the car
