my car has been making a rattleing noise for some time and i put it down to a loose heat shield. but when i looked the heat shield was fine so i was a bit confused as to where the noise was coming from so today i got a mate to rev the car whilst i looked under and it seems to be rattleing from the middle section box. so if this is the case and it needs doing what isd the best sinario to go for. do iget a decat and cat back system or just a cat back system and which one should i go for as i want a nice one that sounds nice but not like some tw*t sat out side macdonalds.
also dont want to spend a fortune as things are a bit tight at the moment so any ideas on a good value system?
as well ive read on here that the best bore size for the exhaust is 2.5" but a mate of mine said that on a n/a car, that size bore would probly loose back pressure and power. is this right or is 2.5 the best to use.
