Ethernet Controller Driver?!

I've downloaded loads of drivers but none of them remedy the Ethernet Controller driver which is still a yellow ! in my Driver Manager in System tab.

I need it for my Wireless router to get it to work or even recognise there's something there.
Originally, there was a yellow ! next to Modem Driver bus, and a few others, but the drivers from Acer website have sorted them out. I cant shift the Ethernet one though and thats the one I need sorted

Cant find one anywhere online, plus I dont know what the f*ck I'm looking for. lol. Are they all standard drivers?

When I click on it it doesnt know anything about it. Manufacturer or anything.

Help needed for a driver. Acer are useless I just phoned them and he said do a system restore. Yes, that helps when I have a full hard drive of stuff I need.

Even that place couldnt find a driver. Cheers though. I've tried so many now. Found out its more than likely a Broadcom 4011 driver. On the spec it says its a 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN whatever the hell that means.

Anyway, I bought a Fast Ethernet cardbus coz I thought the laptop connection was screwed. Turns out its the wrong one as my Acer laptop has the Ethernet port on the corner and this card thing is central so wont fit in my laptop.

Back to shop tomorrow.

i find a hammer always comes in useful in situations like this.

Get a MAC, none of these issues.

System restore doesn't effect any of your files.
