Engine is out, Going to take to specialist for cambelt fitment, dephaser pulley, water pump, power steering pump and aux belt kit.

I have all the Genuine parts at my house and i'm going to drop the engine off an get t fitted by the professionals.

How many hours work would you say to do this and roughly the cost.

More than likely it will be going to Birchdown as he probably my closest specalist and he's done a couple of bits for me.

Just wondering what sort of time frame and cost, i did email him but havent had a price back.

I know half the battle is getting at the cambelt with having no space and having to strip alot down hence while its out do all this so i know its not going to fail as soon as i get it track bound

Phone him, you'll get an answer a lot quicker.

Its a lot easier out of the car.

yeah engine is out for a clean up so makes sense as i receipt for cambelt but i dont know if it was genuine kit and when. it was a written receipt on a local garage paper so not risking it !

That's about an hour, plus the unloading and loading back up, so 1.5 hours labour all in would be fair. Don't be surprised if you find resistance to fitting parts you've supplied though, I wouldn't want to unless you agreed there was zero comeback

the aix kit will need fitting when it's back in the car though, it's a tight squeeze even with the AC pump removed

ahh right major bummer. what do you need to get the tention right on the aux belt kit. was hoping to have this all on or could it be set up for the tention then removed to drop engine back in or any way to set the tention ?

dont people use a jubilee clip or summit ?

Dan what about removing the rear subframe bolts, is it best to use impact wrench or just sockets ?
