Engine Coolant Poss Leak

Yesterday i filled it up to 1/4 below the max marking today i went back and it had gone right down to minmum, i opened the cap to release pressure and it was still far lower, i've had a look around for a leak but theres nothing to obvious, are there any places which are leak hot-spots on clios where the pipe can get torn etc?

Have a look for the obvious things mate, stone in the radiator, leaky header tank cap, perished hose pipe.

If you can't see anything its worth getting it pressure tested at a local garage to find a leak. Could be something out of sight like water pump, have a look up from below your wheel arch but for the sake of 10 minutes for a garage to diagnose it, its not worth getting dirty.

I used some Rad Weld on mine, did the trick.

i had the exact same problem, was loosing a bottle a week...turned out to be a leak in the thermostat housing
