what part of engine are u planning on painting , providing u aint painting over the senors or owt silly, then there shouldnt be a problem

I should have thought as long as you don't paint the oil or anti-freeze there will be no problem

It shouldn't be although they will probably try and blame your paint for any required warrenty work!
