engine bay clean up!

decided my engine bay needed a clean up as ive had the car a month and never got round to it. never fails to make the car feel 'your own' by a good interior, exterior and engine bay clean.

so..bought some gunk, some 600 and 1500 sand paper, found a wire brush, damp towel, dry towel and some 'elbow grease'.

gunked it all first and went at it with the wire brush. wiped down with damp towel. did this twice.
600 sand paper wet with gunk. wiped down with damp towel.
600 sand paper dry. wiped down with dry towel.
1500 to polish it off. wiped down with dry towel.
gunked and wiped down with wet towel, dried with dry towel.
then gave the rest of the bay a wipe.

really pleased with my work, very therapeutic actually lol im fukin shattered now though!

Looks good, Would look very nice polished up..

But if the engines not on show that much its not worth it.

would love to polish it but i think it wud be too hard to do myself and cant afford to get it done professionally. wud have it on show if it looked better lol!

Polishing isn't that hard, you just need to take some time and more elbow grease...
