Electric PAS conversion

Hi there looking at doing this on my 172 track project. Is it worth it? I am already removing air con, and don't have the pas pipes for a 172.

Does anyone know where to get a belt that fits non-pas and non-air con for a 172?

From what I can tell I need the column, ecu and a controller box to make it work. Do the benefits make it worth it for a little less strain on the engine? How is the steering feel if anyone knows?

big thread on it already if you do search. just done mine, slightly more solid feel but not sure how much is psychological as did the rods and ends at the same time.
