Hey, this is the deal.
I had to buy 2 new keys last year in October and get them coded to my car due to immobiliser problems. Both of these new keys broke and whilst they would still start the car they wouldnt open it with the remote central locking. So back to Renault and 2 new keys again, this tim eunder warrenty as its under 12 months since I had them replaced.
Get that done, check it, its all good so I ask for my reciept to prove the work has been done. The lady says that I cant have one as its warrenty work, so I ask how I am I meant to prove when these keys were replaced incase they break in the next 12 months? SO she replys that I dont need to as I no longer have a warrenty with them as its now owned by Renault :S
So basically if my keys break in the next 12 months I'll have to shell out another £180 which Im not chuffed about!
Is this right or are they talking BS?
Cheers
John
