Dodgy Alloy Wheel Company

Does anyone know anything about a company called Scotts Tyres?

I got a set of Plat 8s sent to me for my Clio sport with a et40 offset which was incorrect anyway. These didnt fit, even with 10ml spacers i tried still wouldnt go over the hub. I spoke to 2 companies up here and i have been told that these wheels will not go on a 172 clio. The spoke / hub config is all wrong. So i sent the wheels back last week, i think it was Wednesday, i have left it until today to phone to give them plenty of time and there is no answer, i have tried all day. I have checked my credit card and the money still hasnt been refunded. Any ideas??!!!

contact trading standards, they will be able to advise you the best route to take, ands will be able to tell you if the compnay is known to them.

Give your credit card issuers a call and cancel the transaction, find out if their insurance covers you against these sorts of happenings.

Mind you, at work now we can be so busy its impossible to answer the phone and we have only just invested in a call handling company, so Scotts may have a valid reason for not answering the phone.

Will give another call shortly and if no joy i will pass it on to the Credit Card Company cause they said that they would chase for the money.
