Do I just need a new switch

Right having trouble with my hazard light switch, when i press the button the lights aint coming on.
Recently removed the stereo to find that all the wires are connected etc,the switch for the door lock and heated windscreen work its just the hazard light that isnt working.

So so i just need a new hazard switch or is it something bigger.

think its a common fault for the hazard switch to need replacing.

yeah, common fault. new switch fitted is £10+ get it sorted

i got the same problem m8. took the stereo out and had a fiddle with it and found it wasnt clicking or anythink. best bet is to just to get a new switch like ya said. although saying that i still havent got round to ordering mine....after 2 months lol.

Yea i had to get mine replaced a couple of week back. I put them on one morning when i was stopped, then drove to work. I got home then at bout 8 they came on by themselves and this made the flattened the battery and the clifford alarm realised the battery was flat and started chirping every couple of seconds and it wouldn't bl**dy shut up lol!

After replacing the switch it was fine and the mechanic said it was a really common fault on the clio's!!!

For labour its only easy half an hour they'd probably charge.

The switch is £12 or so.
