Finally got round to building my false floor for the 172... results ? not bad I think, plus I can still take the spare wheel out. Its not finshed though as I still need to build a bit to hold the cd changer, dvd navi, control box, inverter, xbox, amp and sub.

err it was autoleads stuff from halfords.. i bought two rolls of it at 22.99 each.

Think I will only need one roll though, so I might take it back for a refund.. notice the 4 carpeted lips on the edge of the left hand piece for the right hand piece to sit on.. craftmanship that..

ah yes, remove that daft plastic rail along the back of the boot

2 x 17mm bolts will have it off

IMO looks better without it
