distortion at high volumes

when i get up into the high volume levels i get a very gratey distortion.
i cant recall it doing it earlier but im not sure. i just upgraded my power and ground cables from 10awg to 4awg and now its distorting.
I have a pioneer deh-p7000up headunit. and JBL coaxials in all doors. rears are amped but not connected atm. disconnected 6x9's and turned off sub so its just front speakers and standard tweeters running and getting the distortion through all 4

help? anyone?

how did you sort it mate?

was just the rear speaker wires touching, had it before. because i disconnected the 6x9's the witres were touching and was causing distortion. hooked it all up and it cured it
