Disk Size & Pad Type...?

ive gotta go to halfords (or if anyone else knows anywhere cheaper) to buy some disks and pads first thing in the morning, then find a garage to fit them for cheap... because alot of garages round here arent able to get the parts, or other reasons..... so just need to check a few things if anyone knows...?

im after stock disks, 259mm and vented? is there a specific make/manufacturer i should be after...?

im guessing ferodo pads are standard, what type am i going to need?

also whats the max i should be paying a local garage to fit this... as in how much labour is involved?

Not sure about the sizes but all you have to do is go into halfords and give the model name, make and year and they will ask if it is Lucas ADO or Bosch. It should say on your caliper what make you braking system is.

Stock disks nothing fancy is needed there 259mm (somtimes called 258 somehtimes 260) vented there the same as the Williams or Valver if you need.

Pads are Lucus type there only one type cannot go wrong there you know what they look like so just check there only 2 typres for Clios which arn't rs realy so you'll know if you've got the right one just check them in the shop.

Labour 1 hours work to fit.

Rally design are the cheapest I can think of bar GSF at £24.50 each for grounp N ie stock ones. Good delivery when I've ordered from them in the past as well.

FDB 845 are the Ferodo premier pads £17.99 at Halfords I love them great pads for track use as well plus they last well. The Halfords disk are expensive at £60 for a set but there easy to pick up so when you factor in fuel to go elsewhere cheaper etc. Make sure you check they do give you the biger disk as there computer lists the Clio with the smaller 239mm disk whereas you want the 259mm ones just open the box in the shop saves the hastle of going back when the cars in pieces.
