Difference between the Si and Etoile

Im replacing my 1.2 8v Clio and have narrowed down the search to either a 1.4 16v Si or Etoile.

What confuses me is that as a general rule it seems Etoiles go for £500 more than Sis.... ... Why is this?

Both have Sport Lights, Fogs and full electrics but the Si also has Alloys and Sport seats so whatever tha Etoiles have, its worth alot.

Any light shed on this would be a great help because it could narrow down my search even further.

i dont know the difference but i own a 1.4 16v si and the interior on them is very nice with the sports seats,

si standing for sports injection i assume so i would also assume the si has sum kind of perfmormance gain over the Etoiles. ??

the si doesnt have full electrics, has manual side mirrors. part from that eveythings electirc, mine also has air con.

The mystery digs deeper... if the Si is more powerfull, then why is the Etoile more expensive..

i dont know if the si is more powerful but at a guess with a sports injection system in it it wud be.

i think if your after a sporty car then the si is better because you do get the sportier interior.

I am tempted towards the Si, have you made any modifications and if so what sort of gains have you seen?
