Dashboard light dull when side lights turned on

Hi, recently I have had the alternator replaced/reconditioned and I have just niticed when the headlights are turned on the dashboard lights, clock etc dull..... is this normal or could there be another issue?

Any ideas?

It's normal don't worry.

thats normal. so you dont get blinded by bright lights of the dash in the car at night

Had nothing but issues since owning my 182 and only had it since end of March.... seems the french forgot to build there cars to last lol

Is the dash brightness turned right down? afaicr you can adjust it...
