dash removal

  Mercedes C Class Sport
im currently removing the top dash from my mk2 ph2 clio. I have taken all the bolt off from behind the dash inserts, side of the dash, by the steering wheel and off from the side pillars. the dash is loose but im reluctant to pull it hard. Its sticking down by the passenger airbag, is stuck down mostly by there. Have i missed any screws or should i just pull the dash?

fubar on here has a great guide on his website

www.fubarnet.com

he has Ph1 and Ph2 dash removal guides on there now.

Just pull it... if its not been off for a while they stick... but remember to pull towards you EVENLY. Dont just yank one end of the dash.

does anyone know if you can take the clear plastic cover of the dash display without removing the whole unit?

dont just pull the dash, youll snap the 3 or 4 lugs behind the airbag and the airbag cage on the passenger side.
Smack the top of the dash where the airbag is whilst pulling it. It will come out without damaging andything then.
