CS3 Design Premium installed can i remove CS2

Finally got it today after a long wait.

I bought the upgrade as i had Macromedia Suite 8 and Photoshop CS2 whic meant i qualified.

It is installed now, but it hasnt overwritten Photoshop CS2 or Macromedia Suite 8. Is it safe to uninstall these now? or does CS3 need them there on the system to work?

I have registered CS3 Premium already.

Yeah it's ok to remove those.

It's not essential for those to have already been installed, it would have asked for the CS2 install disc to verify all was legit.
