Cropping an Mp3...?

I have an MP3, but I want to take a part of the track and make the snippet another MP3 to use as a ringtone. What do I need to use?

I have installed Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 but can't see if it can do it?

found out that Easy Media Creator 10 has a program called Sound Editor which is great!

Doh didn't realise you could do that! been trying to work out how to crop mp3's as well.

er.. i use it to crop itunes mp3's down to use as ringtones if that means anything. lol

I use goldwave, handles mp3 with no problems and you can edit the full track too.
