Couple of questions can anyone help please!!!

hi there guys just a couple of questions about my mk2 172!!!

1) when i start the car the stop, serv and abs light come on and then go out is this normal on all 172?
2) when in reverse there is a very small noise that comes from the passenger side front wheel almost like a small fart he he any ideas what this could be
3) when is the cambelt due on the 172 and what kind of job is involved cost wise!!!
4) would the 172 take renault alloys with 205 50 r17 tyres on??? plus how much difference is there going to be on performance if a upgraded
5) do you know where the interior centre light is...there are some grills near here i think like speakers or something as soon as i turn the ignition on there is a buzzing sound constantly coming from these like little speakers...is this too do with the alarm of something or what else could it be ...are they turned up too loud if they are speakers.
6) when i go over bumps on the passnger rear they is a banging sound but i think the exhaust is not fitted correctly could this be it or another problem!!!

4: go with 16's as this will keep the handling its got, 17's will make it worse.
5:thats the aircon fan, it uses this to see the cabin air temp.
6:Rear exhaust rubber on the back box.

if you must go 17's 205/50 is the wrong profile tyre, better off with something like 205/40 i would imagine.

fantastic mate so this fan noise if for the climate control does everybody's do this? that is a big worry of my mind cheers mate what could be wrong with the exhaust rubber could be coming of or split etc etc thanks again i am glad these are not major problems just normal few!!!!!!!!!!!11 ;-)

thanks mate i am going to stick with 16inch wheels for sure now made my mind up anyone know a good price for turini wheels just want the alloys ktec are 105 plus vat each but they are quite expensive overall arent they cheers again

Always wondered what that buzzing noise from light was, mine does it and my mates 172 does it.

changed the rubber exhaust mount in the rear hanger last week.

mine was shot to pieces!!!

just got one from halfords for £1.20 and zip-tied it in.

They are £125 plus VAT at k-TEC for 16's
