Cost of a new Key from Renault?

How much should it cost to get a key cut for a clio? A friend just payed £160 for a new key and the reflective piece of plastic for her wing mirror from Renault. Rip off?

Sounds about right as they have to be ordered from france and coded to your vehicle I believe.

If it is a clio 2 98>06 Key blade would be approx £15 and depending on year of clio the plip (remote) would be approx £80 then the cost of coding the key in, if its the clio 3 then i dont know how much they charge unfortunately
