Back in November replaced my coolant sensor because the temperature gauge was dead. With the new gauge in, the car was working fine until a week before Christmas.
Sometimes it will start first turn of the key other times you have to keep the revs up to stop it from cutting out. It revs at the cold idle all the time (about 1000 rpm) and the radiator fan is always on, sometimes it bunny hops when you change gear . I unplugged the sensor but no change. The thing is the temp gauge is reading correct but could it be the problem?. It was really cheap @ < than £6.00. it will be genuine renault next if it is the problem
