Clutch Help!!

hi everyone thought i would start a post on this rather than keep hijaking other peoples

my clutch when you starting from stop is very stiff to lift making starting very difficult and sometimes stalling the car or jumping down the road but when car is going the clutch is perfectly fine it also make beeting anyone from the traffic lights very hard going cos i cant seem to get the clutch up quick enough

what is wrong does something need oiling or has something gone!!!

It could be the clutch cable, I've had 3 so far. They get sticky and end up squeeking so get that looked at. Difficult to say without driving it.

How many miles has it done? It could be the clutch itself, not cheap. Just had mine done after 78,000 miles.

hi mate it has done 53k and it a 51 plate the clutch seems fine no squeaks or problems when moving just on lift ioff cheers
