So this is the start of my build thread for my recently purchased Williams.

Not in the best condition but very few are these days.

The good side?

The not so good side.

I shall be picking it up in a few weeks but this has allowed me to start searching for parts. I have purchased sills and front and rear jacking points which will be arriving later this week. During my internet searching for parts I stumbled across the site https://www.boutique-bordanova-sport.com/. Any one here had any experience? They seem to have a lot good parts as very interested in picking up the rear arches.

Love it! Will be following your progress.

One random thing I remember about the williams from back in the 90’s was that the development team reckoned the seats were worth time over a particular road, because of how much better they held you in place than the Clio 16v seats. You probably all knew that anyway.

I don’t think I’ve been in a Clio 16v but I do remember the Williams had the Renault 19 16v seats and they were fantastic.

Good luck with the work and enjoy driving it.

The Williams and ph2 Valvers have the exact same seats, just a different cloth pattern but they certainly are the best of the bunch
It was the leather seat option in the Valver that used the R19 front seats

Thanks for that clarification- The trouble now is I’ll have to look out my ancient car mags to see what the hell I did read! Like you say, great seats though.

They do have the best seats! Everyone who sat in my first always mentioned them.

So contacting Boutique Bordanova they no longer ship to the UK! Need to now come up with a plan b for the rear arches!!

I'm guessing it was probably a comparison to the early ph1 & ph1.5 Valver seats as you sit more on top of them rather than in them
