Clio 182 four beeps on locking

My Clio 182 has a tendency to trigger the alarm randomly, usually in the middle of the night.

I do the ol' three turns of the key to ignition and then lock the car trick so the alarm doesn't go off. This usually gives me the three beeps on locking.

It now has started to do four beeps on locking, which I understand indicates a fault somewhere.

However, is the alarm still off or will it go back to getting triggered randomly in the middle of the night again?

Mine used to do this when the bonnet sensor was acting up

Make sure the sensor is engaging properly and that none of the windows or doors are slightly open. Maybe test your door sensors by pressing them with the door open and seeing if the interior light turns off

Id get home at 11pm, go to bed and my alarm would go off about 30 mins later waking everyone up🤣
