Cheap Clip and Torque App

Any opinions on the below please , has anyone used them at all , i have a ph1 clio 172.

Also there is a torque app for android phones now , anyone used / played around with it?

That is a supposedly a dealer level piece of equipment - Personally i'd tell you to steer clear of that as it is most certainly what we call a "Clone" and they can do some things very well... they can also do some things that you don't want them to do.

One example is I've seen "Clones" activate daytime run lamps on Laguna II's just thru code reading which you might think sounds like a cool thing but when its on a car with no light sensors the lights are on all the time, even when the card is out and parked up on your driveway and the only way to turn it off is to re-configure the ECM (Which isn't exactly great fun if you don't know what you're doing)

As long as your know what you're getting yourself into (re what mick is saying), they can be had for less than that.
