changing the brakes in a 172 cup

Has anyone changed the brakes (front or rear or both) on their 172 cup? if so does it make a big difference? im considering changing the brakes just for normal road use (not track) and wondered if it would help with their lack of abs.

Brembo OE replacement fronts, with Ferodos, Dot 4 fluid and braided lines.

Yeah ive got Brembo OE fronts. Ebc yellowstuff pads, Castrol 4 dot and goodridge braided lines. Rears i have redstuff pads with mintex discs. I dont get any squeaks and the braking is amazing.
