change throttle body!!

  cup 172/ Laguna dci
well as always a new fault :)

changed crank sensor last week after bo500 fault code & the light that looks like a pulse monitor was on all ok for a week...

now its not starting again takes up to 17 attempts!! so now i have ecu light all the time on a pulse monitor looking light intermitently
plugged it back in and it says throttle sensor... which is the part of the throttle body (pelum i think) so my question is if i get a new throttle body can i just bolt it on & plug it in or does it have to be programed to the ECU????

or would it be the engine wiring loom causing faults & making the ecu have PMT!

please help :( i hate it when my clio isnt very well

What machine did you use and more importantly, what code did you get? I ask as i'd be inclined to check the wiring and all connections before writing off and forking out for a new throttle body.

I've got a spare tb in the house. They are just bolt on. No programming required. Shameless plug :)

Does the car crank? Does the tb whine when you turn the key to ignition?

£45 delivered mate. PM me if interested. I checked it a few weeks back on my 182 and it runs fine.
