will a phase 1 172 cat fit a phase 2?

or can it be made to.

phase 1 172 will fit the phase 2 172 as some of them share the same size cats. (which is a squarish one from memory) however if the phase 1 originally had the twin catalyst convertor then it wont fit as it'll be too short.

otherwise a 182 cat is a higher quality freer-flowing one so that would be the better bet if your gonna modifiy one to fit.

the one on mine is squarish as opposed to being a round can.

was there a difference in the amount of sensor holes?
